                                                                                   Week 1:
Starting to think about science: Gathering and Interpreting Data.
After today's slime-tipping experiment on Mr Anderson, I have considered placing myself in gathering data as multistructural because I can gather data but it is not always accurate. For inferencing I placed myself in unistructural because I am not very good at describing stuff and I am forgetting what it feels like or smells like or looks like. I placed myself in engaging in science on relational because I got to tip the slim on Mr Anderson's head and I got to try and write what a real slime would look like, smell like and feel like.

Week 2: Balloon Rocket experiment

In the balloon experiment I observed that the balloon twirled when it went on a bumpy string. My learning was multistructural because I could observe lots of stuff. Like the first trial it made a low pitched sound and when the string was in a horizontal line it made a high pitched noise

Week 3: Drag
When we put the paper on the balloon it spun because the paper couldn’t find a way to go around the wind so and that made it have more drag so it spun. When we put the paper on the top of the balloon it went the whole way and it had air to spare because the wind just pushed the tiny corner of paper. I wonder if the balloon would go faster if it was going down gathering data this week was multistructural because I could gather good data but not a lot of data.

At the start of the year

At the start of the year I think my learning was multistructural because I sometimes was a wet day Monitor or a I was a kapa Haka leader teaching others. Now think I am in the middle of  relational and extended abstract because I participate in lots of events and I know most the actions at kapa haka. I can sing reasonably well but most of all I pick up after myself to keep places tidy.

My inquiry project is encouraging little kids to keep running and to teach other people the steps of what you do before and after your run. There weren't t many challenges but we struggled on two particular challenges didn't get the names of the 12 people until we started and we didn't know where to run.

Overall..I feel my learning is important to the Community because I am encouraging little kids to keep there body motivated and to pick up after themselves.

Are you a responsible citizen?

Are you a responsible citizen, are you? If you are you will follow rules and laws and you will be nice to everyone else and not hurt anyone. You won't steal and everyone will live in peace. If no one followed rules and laws then all the little kids would be bad because they would copy what the older men do, and think it's the right thing, so they do it. We need to be responsible citizens because everybody will go home happy, kids would do the right thing and help each other. My mom follows rules and laws by helping other people like the people at her work to not break the laws. Over all, we need to follow rules and laws because we need to need to live in peace.

Are you trustworthy? If you are everyone will trust you. Your parents might let you stay at your house when you're older and your teacher will let you grab equipment by yourself. If nobody was trustworthy lots of people would go to jail and they might steal lots of money. We need to be trustworthy because if we didn't what I just said would happen people would be sad. Jonty is trustworthy because he went to the art shed to get paper alone. Over all, it is important to be trustworthy because people need to have resources to stay alive and to have fun.

Are you helpful bystander for me? If you are you will do these things: help people if they're going to get hurt or are hurting someone else. If nobody was a helpful bystander lots of little kids would get hurt and there would be a bad guy who uses people as slaves and butlers. We need helpful bystanders to care for kids and not hurt them. I am a helpful bystander because people were fighting and I stood in the middle of them and told a teacher. Overall, we need to be a helpful bystander because if we didn't everybody would get hurt.

Do you contribute? If you do you will follow these simple rules: you will let any gender join in with you and if someone is sitting on their own alone you will let them have a turn in your game. If no one contributed, then every body would get bored and lonely people would stop learning. This quality is important because everybody needs to learn and be nice so no one is lonely. Max contributes by not letting me lose in soccer and coming to help me.

Another dawn at the gym

It is another dawn at the gym with my nutri-grain and coke. I grab the starter 80kg weights. I do a hundred lifts then I run around Hagley park 2 times struggling to bits. I sprint back to the gym. I push,  pump, lift, sweat everything! I feel hot, strong, puffed and sweaty because I've done lots of running, biking and lifting!

I am a Lamborghini.

I am a Lamborghini, speeding around a racetrack, getting closer and closer to the finish line.
I am the Leaning Tower of Pisa, leaning but still strong, like a gorilla lifting weights.
I am a statue that everyone looks at in their home and when they’re running or walking.
I am an orange, powering to the max. I never slow down.
I am an ice cream everybody likes to eat, yummy and scrummy.
I am a t-shirt getting dirtier everyday, always worn by my owner.
